A document confirming the renewal of the privilege for the issuance and settlement of the town of Witkow in 1740. The document was originally issued with the permission of King August III Sas of Poland, by Jakub from Kościelec on Działyń, Działyński Ensign of Wschowa. It grants, among other things.
- exemptions from rent payments,
- permission to brew beer independently,
- a promise to set aside a place for an Evangelical cemetery ("Dysydentum a place for kirches I promise"),
- permission to keep a teacher ("Shulmajster for Children's Teachings I allow"),
- instruction on tolerance: "Agreement between Germans and Poles is recommended under guilt."
The document was confirmed by Sulkowski / Sulkowski (?) in 1772, when Witkow's municipal privilege was renewed, at the time of which a new market, the current Kosciuszko Park, was established.
