This is historically the first “State Ticket” issued by the Ministry of the Treasury during the Second Polish Republic.
Issued on October 26, 1926, it was put into circulation in March 1927. It supplemented the money supply with the 5 zlotych denomination, which was missing at the time (the first “Nike” banknotes did not enter circulation until July 25, 1928).
