Beautifully made medal case for the Royal Suite, modeled on an old case, the kind in which the Karolkiewicz set was offered.
Execution of high quality, careful. Exterior leather, interior plush / velvet. On the lid an engraved descriptive plate with a date modeled on the original box, with the date 1790.
Two-tiered. Slight abrasions in places. Overall good condition, no damage.
According to the previous owner, custom-made by a bookbinder in the 1980s.
A rare and beautiful item.
