The train was built on November 26, 1918 at the Main Railway Workshops in Lviv and initially named "Lvivian". However, this name was not accepted by the crew, who after a few days began to call it "Pepetrojka" - after the number of Armored Train No. 3 (P.P. 3). On April 5, 1919, by order of the Minister of Military Affairs, the train was renamed "Lieutenant Colonel Lis-Kula" - in memory of Lt. Col. Leopold Lis-Kula, who had fallen on the field of glory.
The train's crew took part in battles during the Polish-Ukrainian war, including the defense of Lviv, and later participated in clashes during the Polish-Bolshevik war. On August 12, 1921, the train was diverted to Krakow, where it was decommissioned in the 1st Railway Regiment.
