An honorary badge treated in Silesia as a decoration of high social rank. Established by the Chapter of the Upper Silesian Star in Katowice and approved by an order of the Minister of Military Affairs in 1925. It was awarded "in recognition of the services rendered in the struggle for the perpetual rights of Piast Silesia."
