An interesting issue, quoting T. Zawistowski:
"The Hofman brothers' locksmith workshop provided AK partisan units with gunsmithing services, and from mid-1943 also mass-produced eagles according to the pre-war 1919 pattern. It is difficult to determine now whether a pre-war die was used for production or one made during the occupation...."
