A rarer denomination of the double thaler of the Duchy of Warsaw.
Circulated state of preservation, but not worn by circulation. Fold lines quite numerous, but folds unfixed enough to be without tears at their confluence with the margins.
Naturally clean, with a very good, above-average appearance.
On the reverse, stamped by the Liquidation Commission; and in the lower right corner, handwritten number in pen (255; a frequently encountered form of annotation on thalers).
Facsimile of the signature of the poetically associated commissioner: Antoni Kochanowski. The numbering is 5-digit, and thus 5-element.
