The thaler banknotes of the Duchy of Warsaw, issued with the date of December 1, 1810, circulated in the Duchy's money circulation for only a little over two years. Introduced into circulation on July 2, 1811, they were withdrawn on October 31, 1813, following the occupation of the Duchy's territories by Russian troops and the introduction of Russian currency.
Printed on one side, on light-colored paper, they wore out very quickly in circulation. Nowadays, pieces that are nicely preserved are rare, especially in their natural state, without purification (for more on this topic, see youtube.com/MarciniakTV).
