So-called "printer's run-up", i.e. preliminary prints on a printing press, preceding the actual printing phase, to check, set up and calibrate the printing press.
Made on paper without watermarks.
Printed "upside down" and staggered with respect to each other, two different layers of obverse subprinting - a hatched yellow one and a brown one with the denomination marking. Both of these layers covered by beautifully printed and practically without offset layers of the reverse subprint, which dominates the iconographic representations on the present piece.
An impressive and nicely preserved item (only folded in half)
Dimensions: 165 x 88 mm.
