The immense rarity of the item.
A design whose existence was questioned at all until recently.
5 gold 1941, based graphically directly on the 1940 issue. Only with the series changed to a two-letter series.
Here just from the first two-letter series AA and with technological numbering, zero. Annotated with perforated pattern lettering. Recent research conducted on "PawPaw Banknotes - Forge of Knowledge" (private group, access to content requires registration) determined the characteristics of the perforator and proved conclusively its period origin, by comparing the typeface with the perforator present on a single-window Treasury Ticket pattern found in the archive(source here). Its most distinctive feature, a distinguishing characteristic, is the specific shape of the dash she "ó" - elongated, slightly teardrop-shaped. Such as on the present piece.
Zero numbering, applied with a proper numerator.
Beautiful state of preservation.
An excellent item.
