Highly prized and difficult to find in good condition, as is the case with this banknote.
It is the only banknote in the entire “1919” series to feature a portrait other than that of Tadeusz Kościuszko. It bears a bust of Prince Józef Poniatowski, designed by the engraver Eugene Gasperini, who was active in France.
