Banknote with a torn off part of the left margin, including the tip of the guilloche surrounding the denomination.
The torn off fragment was added from a PLN 50 bill of 1941, which was graphically based on the PLN 50 with Dąborwski (as were other "portrait" issues of occupation-era banknotes, except for the PLN 500 with Highlander, which were also based directly on pre-war Polish banknotes).
The stitching was done quite skillfully, with multi-point contact bonding with dry glue. Without any advanced conservation treatment.
The presentation is good, and despite the loss, the graphic part of the banknote with Dabrowski is preserved almost completely. The watermark was also hardly affected at all by the detached piece.
Recommended. Possibility to complete the collection with a rare item at a better price.
