The 500 zloty 1794 is the smallest-issued banknote among all denominations of the Kosciuszko Insurrection, and most likely the smallest mintage among all Polish circulation banknotes. Its issue size correlates with its denomination - it is only 500 pieces!
This is an ennobling denomination that few collections can boast of having. There are probably no more than ten in private collections.
The present one is a piece with a low number 36 and a striking full coat of arms in the watermark.
It is preserved in natural condition, with no conservation corrections. With fold marks on eight, including a tear on the line of two horizontal breaks. The lower tear complete, with separation of the lower part of the bill, the middle one still with local connections. Complete, with no missing fragments.
Five hundred is one of the highest rarities of Polish paper money. A symbolic banknote, from a banknote of immense esteem and collector's desire, the first issue of Polish paper money at the time of the Kościuszko Insurrection.
A denomination that for collectors of Polish paper money is synonymous with rarity and highest collector desire.
