Diversionary forgery made in England, for the purpose of financing opposition activity in Poland. Supplied to the Polish resistance in the form of airdrops.

Stamped piece, seized by the Germans from airdrop near Piotrków Trybunalski. In this stamped form, it served as a counterfeit specimen, for cash registers and banks in the General Government.

Broken vertically centrally, edge imperfections, torn upper right corner.
