Sales from the archives of British printers show that photographic documentation of works in progress was made in the era. Examples of such PHOTO-PROJECTS, for example, in our Archives. Perhaps, however, such photographs of unitary, drawn designs were taken not only for archival purposes, but also for ongoing use in the design and production process.
Here we have an example of a photograph of a drawing design of a watermark used in an emigrant 500 zloty 1939 banknote, the printing of which was carried out by the London printing house TDLR.
The appearance of the photo, its emulsion, coloring, etc. clearly indicate that it was made in the past. Referring to the aforementioned information, it can be assumed that in the era.
A historically important value, essential for specialized collections documenting the 1939 emigrant issue.
Analogous values from this issue are also present in the Lucow Collection.
