Banknotes of the 1924 guilder issue are now some of the rarest and most sought-after banknotes of the Free City of Danzig. Introduced into circulation in March 1924, they remained in circulation until the end of September 1939. In the meantime, circulation was successively supplemented by new issues, and 100 guilders were reissued in the same graphic design, in 1931.
Pieces from the first issue of 1924 have survived to our time only a few pieces.
In our archive covering 20 years of the company's activity, the 100 guilders of the first issue of the Bank of Danzig are listed only four times.
A very rare item in an attractive, natural state of preservation.
