The printing of the main layer is missing on the obverse.
Only three letters from the POL inscription in the central upper part of the banknote are traceable, but the printing of other intaglio printed elements is completely absent.
The vestigial outline of a fragment of the POL inscription shows how this destruct was created. It was created not as a result of a complete omission of the sheet in intaglio printing, but as a result of the machine running out of ink, the remnants of which only partially scratched the POL inscription.
The CU series identifies the 1979 issue date.
Piece in natural circulated condition.
Very impressive.
