A very rare version of the 3 rubles 1841: with an additional security grid added by the issuer (such as on later vintages or on the three rubles of the second issue).
Piece preserved in natural condition, without any wet restoration or corrections. Only with an old dry underbinding (probably of this type). Touched up with a few tears and a small loss under the left signature.
An excellent piece.
