The first and only piece known and recorded from the D series.
Until the appearance of this piece, it was even assumed that the issue of the 5 zloty denomination could only include the A, B and C series. Only the appearance of this piece changed the perception of this fact and the need to take a different look at the mintage of the various denominations of the emigrant issue. More on this subject in the research of Mr. Michal Skulski, e.g. here
Series from outside the archival pool. So far only the A series (typical, from the archival pool of 1000 pieces) and two pieces of the B series were known.
The present banknote the first known of the D series and is currently the only one!
Beautiful state of preservation.
A few lines of light fractures, but all clean and unfixed.
Fully natural and with a beautiful near perfect uncirculated piece presentation.
A unique and very important bill for the knowledge of Polish paper money.
Definitely recommended.
