A banknote whose undeniable asset is its beautiful state of preservation.
While insurrectionary banknotes in themselves are not very rare, few have survived in beautiful condition.
They were kept as a souvenir of the Uprising, and were probably also shown or looked at from time to time, and naturally without the current collector's attention to their state of preservation.
A large part of those preserved to our time come from the commemorative boxes of the Uprising, and these were made "to fit" the banknote. A banknote slipping out from under the lid of the boxes usually damaged its edges.
This one without such defects, very nice, in PCGS grading. A company less popular in Poland, but in the world as recognized and reputable as NGC / PCGS.
