An exceptional value!
So far, we have encountered a 500 zloty design of the 1947 type but with the 1946 date only once, as part of an advanced collection of proofs and designs, which is archived on our site here. That design was also one-sided, but from an earlier stage of preparation and without a subprint.
The present one is a fully completed obverse print, made on technical paper, without watermarks and without numbering.
Excellent! Showing the issuer's concept, which was born as early as early 1946, but implemented as a circulating banknote more than a year later. Implementation practically in the same graphic form as well as color scheme. Only the shape of the rosette with the denomination on the left margin was slightly modified.
Condition of preservation without remarks; no sagging, kinking or traces of pasting so frequent for various conceptual and presentation designs. Here without such, only a small, radzawa spot in the paper at the edge of the left margin. Excellent condition, a unique item.
