The 50 zloty of the 1919 (1924) issue exists only with the date 1919. It was issued only in the first issue, and unlike the other high denominations that ran at the time (100 and 500 zloty) the fifty was quickly withdrawn. It was in circulation only until the end of January 1928 and is now the rarest denomination of the 1919/24 issue .
It is sought after and valued regardless of its state of preservation. Absent from many collections.
The present piece is a magnificent representative of the type, additionally of its rarest single-digit variety.
Fully natural, with a clearly visible checkered paper texture. Folded only in half, with a few, light bends and calluses laterally. However, in the structure of the paper fixed and visible under light only the central fold.
Excellent in presentation. Fresh and delightful in its naturalness.
One of the prettiest known pieces of this denomination, and for a single-digit variety possibly the prettiest piece currently known.
