A mysterious and unlisted variety for this denomination with a design number printed in the margin. According to Czeslaw Miłczak, this is a machine marking.
Such a variant not previously recorded for the 100 zloty denomination, but known for the 5 and 10 zloty of the 1919 issue. Interestingly, both of these bills - both the 5 and 10 zloty - have the same number 4896 in the margin!
Pieces in beautiful state of preservation, with only a small, longitudinal overbend at the upper right corner.
Considering that two other denominations with analogous marking in the margin have the same number, it is possible that only one set (?) was so marked.
Probably unique, and in excellent state of preservation.
