As Jacek Mazur writes: "The United Industrial Plants of K. Scheibler and L. Grohman SA was established in 1921, from the merger of the L. Grohman Industrial Plants Joint Stock Society, established in 1899, with the K. Scheibler Cotton Plants Joint Stock Society, established in 1855. The United Industrial Plants of K. Scheibler and L. Grohman SA were the largest textile plants in the Second Republic. The factory encompassed the complete process of cotton processing."
