The original was published in Warsaw, in 1845.
This is the second comprehensive catalog of Polish coins, published just after Steszinski-Bandtkie's "Domestic Numismatics" appeared 5 years earlier. Covering the modern period from 1506 onward, it is much more detailed on the subject than "National Numismatics," so it is not surprising that it quickly became the primary and reference catalog for coin collectors of the time. It maintained this status in practice until the early 20th century.
