The first such comprehensive study of the subject, which is the basis for the correct attribution of coins of this period. The work presents the most up-to-date state of research as of today, and the extensive descriptions and analysis are written in accessible language and supported by numerous photographs (about 650 illustrations in total).
The author is Witold Garbaczewski, a recognized specialist in coins of the Bracteate period, who has already presented his knowledge and writing craftsmanship earlier, among others in a very successful and well-received publication "The World of Bracteates".
