Auction catalog from the auction of the famous Henry V collection.
The collection of Henry V. Karolkiewicz is the largest collection of Polish numismatic coins, which was the last to "go under the hammer." The auction took place on December 6, 2000 in New York. The auction featured 3076 numismatic items of Polish and Polish-related coins, including "lots" (often several coins appeared under one heading). The catalog is prepared superbly, with a large part of the coins photographed and accurately and expertly described. Descriptions include links to catalogs and interesting facts related to a particular numismatic item. In very good quality photos, exceptional items are presented, including the 50-drachma of Zg. III Vasa and a host of other rare thalers, ducats, etc.
