A fragment of the monumental work "Materyały do ikonografii królów, armroi i wojska polskiego", consisting of 173 boards with redrawings of portraits, uniforms, armament from ancient iconographic sources (seals, engravings, manuscripts, tombstones). The board is partially colored; the coloring of the boards was done by Bronislawa Uhma, daughter of Wladyslaw Bartynowski - an outstanding Polish numismatist.
Drawings according to materials collected by Bartynowski were made by Karol Wawrosz (compositions signed on stone: "K. Wawrosz" and "rys. Karol Wawrosz").
