A set of lithographic plates for a work by Zagorski.

An interesting piece, from which one can see the numismatic passion of one of the previous owners. The images of the coins depicted in the engravings are in part hand-colored, with the color depending on the metal from which they are made - copper in brown, gold in orange, and silver in blue. In addition, there are annotations next to some of the items, usually a strikethrough and a letter, sometimes a number, and Majnert's falsifications crossed out. Annotations usually go hand in hand with coloring, also probably this is how the former collector marked the pieces he owned.

Block trimmed to 240 x 184 mm format. Sides with old red spotting. Title page after conservation cleaning, noticeable slight whitening and slight blurring of the ink stamp at the bottom. The rest of the interior beautiful, all boards, in full natural condition.

Binding contemporary, half leather in combination with old marbled paper. Signet on the spine gilt, made on leather-like material. The linings inside are paper. Binding made well and in nice condition, only quite stiff and strains when looking through the first pages. External format 252 x 190 mm.

On the title page the stamp of the former Warsaw bookstore UNGER I BANARSKI.
