In bookbinding - half leather with gilt. Nice old marbled paper, but the binding is most likely later or contemporary (?). Handwritten inscription on the spine in green ink.
Piece from the library of Wiktor Chominski. His dry ownership stamp imprinted on the front pastedown, and a handwritten note signed with CHW initials on the left. Numerous handwritten notes in pencil in the contents.
Block separated into two parts, after the plate and before page 63. The last page with a small, now glued, edge loss, and the first two pages with pronounced cracks, glued (probably contemporary) with bookbinding tissue. Usable soiling, especially of the lower corners. Binding tight and quite deep into the spine of the block, and as a result, difficult to use, opening.
External format 158 x 227 mm, internal ~ 150 x 222 mm.
