A very rare 18th-century study, also touching on numismatic themes.
It is the work of the mayor of Torun, Jacob Heinrich Zernecke (1672-1741), who, drawing on archives and events he witnessed, wrote a chronicle of the city from its beginnings until 1726. In addition to descriptions, including the Torun tumult, the edition is accompanied by engravings of, among other things, medals and plans of the city from the time of Polish kings.
