One of the rarest typologically copper Russian coins minted in Warsaw.
The only native silver half kopiejek in history.
The issuance of silver kopecks in Warsaw took place in 1848. Three denominations were minted then: 3, 2 and 1/2 kopecks. All in low mintages. They were discontinued in the same year, returning to minting Russian copper only in 1850.
Very rarely seen in commerce.
First time in our history.
