Lot description
Grade: NGC MS62 BN
Certificate: NGC 6639842-011 only one MS62
Reference: Bitkin H1215 (R2), Plage 244, Berezowski 4.00 zł

An uncommon numismatic coin in the trade.

Both exquisitely preserved and of great rarity.

First vintage of a new minting of the last type of one-penny coins of the Kingdom of Poland.

No listing in the archives of Polish companies. Probably the first listing in the 21st century at a Polish auction.

A mid-19th-century issue of the Warsaw Mint for collectors' use.

A type which, as part of the repercussions related to the November Uprising, was Russified: the note "POLSKI" disappeared from the denomination and the coat of arms of Poland disappeared from the eagle's chest.
