One of the rarest pennies of the Kingdom of Poland.

The first vintage penny from the time of the Russian partition. Known only from the new minting in the late 1850s.

Made with the year of the establishment of the Kingdom of Poland (June 9), although the new monetary system was established on November 19 of that year.

Rated at the highest degrees of rarity (Rx in Plage, R3 in Bitkin). In Berezovsky's price list specified with a question mark, added next to coins found in trade only by exception. This is also confirmed by contemporary quotations of this coin. No other quotations in the Onebid or Niemczyk archives.
