Lot description
Grade: UNC/AU
Reference: Bitkin H1013 (R3), Plage 94 (R4), Berezowski 100.00 zł

Here is one of the rarest coins from the time of Poland under partition.

Desirable and unavailable for years, as evidenced by the fact that Berezowski valued it at 100.00 zlotys and Bitkin described it as R3.

Ten-penny minted only as a new mintage ("novodiela"), made at the Warsaw Mint in the 2nd half of the 19th century.

First time at auction in Poland.

A beautiful, natural piece struck with late mintage stamps. With the characteristic celadon patina, common for mint coins of the period.
