One of the rarest typologically copper Russian coins minted in Warsaw.
A beautiful piece of the highest denomination among Warsaw silver kopiejeks.
The issue of silver kopiejeks in Warsaw took place in 1848. Three denominations were minted then: 3, 2 and 1/2 kopecks. All in very low mintages. They were discontinued in the same year, returning to minting Russian copper only in 1850, but already without the "СЕРЕБРОМЪ" notation.
The only native 3 kopecks of silver in the history of Polish mints.
Mint coin, with beautiful detail, in an even patina. One of the prettiest that occurred on the Polish auction market.
Very rarely seen in the trade.
First time in our offer.
