Lot description
Grade: VF+
Reference: Bitkin 825, Plage 31, Berezowski 6.00 zł

The first vintage of the Kingdom's five-dollar coins.

A distinctive early type of these coins (minted between 1816 and 1818), still without the raised rim that protected the coin's relief.

A cut on the obverse. Lots of uneven black tarnish on the surface.

Definitely above-average preserved relief, with visible backstrip.
