The first collector's attempt of the communist period.
The famous Wladyslaw Terlecki issue made on the initiative of collectors "following the pattern of the pre-war period."
Derived from the first sets: made from circulating versions of coins, aluminum and cupro-nickel, bearing a concave inscription PRÓBA.
As J. Parchimowicz describes it, citing Mieczyslaw Czerski, these sets did not meet with the approval of collectors, which led to their replacement with pieces in brass. And it is the latter that are regularly found at auctions, suggesting their successful replacement.
