A large, very attractive coin from the reign of King Augustus III, from his issue for Saxony. It features the coat of arms of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth and the title of King of Poland (REX POLONIARUM).
This type was struck at the Dresden Mint between 1735 and 1752, bearing the mint mark (a hook) and the initials of its mint master, Frederick William ô Feral.
