A very rare commercial denomination from the time of August III - 1/8 thaler. Beautiful, mint fresh state of preservation, in old patina. You can tell by the coin that it was struck from good, high-grade silver.
Denomination with no value designation, which, unlike the commonly circulated coins of this king, is not a multiple of a third of a thaler (1/12, 1/6, 1/3). Perhaps a proof issue.
An undervalued coin in catalogs, virtually unavailable on the market.
Silver, diameter 26.5 mm, weight 3.62 g.
Kahnt 568, Kopicki 11322 (R3).
Rarity. Recommended.
