A natural piece, with a preserved mint silvering surface is one of great rarity, as evidenced by the NGC census, in which only 3 coins received an MS-type note.
Notably, it is a circulating coin, struck in low-tempered, oxidation-prone coin silver, rather than a collector's print in pure silver.
