Lot description
Grade: XF+
Reference: Kahnt 739, Kopicki 7718 (R2)

The most beautiful Danzig shilling of this vintage that we have had on offer so far.

Natural, art with a beautiful presence.

A type of coin uncommon in such condition.

During the reign of Augustus III, the issuance of shelemons in Gdansk is irregular and small. The vintage of 1757, is only the third vintage of the pressing of shelemons, and in the entire reign of over 30 years, only 6 vintages were made. 1757 is a rare year, known only from one type - with rosettes on the sides of the coat of arms of Gdansk.

A variety with broad letters and the numeral of the denomination.
