The penultimate vintage of the vicariate issues of Augustus III.

A distinctive commemorative half-talar, named after the privilege of the Saxon electors, who according to it exercised the vicariate in the Saxon district after the Emperor's death. Coins of various denominations were minted for the occasion, most of them with a beautifully executed depiction of the king pinning a horse.
