The second vintage of the Vicariate ducats of August III, the first with his depiction on horseback.

Mint coin, with beautiful luster, gently bent.

A valued denomination.

Vicariate ducat, the name comes from the privilege of the Saxon electors, who according to it exercised the vicariate in the Saxon district after the death of the emperor. To mark the occasion, coins of various denominations were minted, most with a beautifully executed depiction of the king pinning a horse.

Obverse: a king in cloak and armor, with a sword, pinning a horse. In the rim:
*D.G.FRID.AUG.REX POL.DUX SAX.ARCHIM.& ELECTOR.

Reverse: imperial throne, on it a mantle, crown, apple and scepter. In the rim:
* IN PROVINCIS IUR.SAXON. PROVISOR ETVICARIUS 1741
