The first Polish coin on which the name of the denomination was minted - DENARIVS.

A coin about which Kalkowski wrote that it was "a kind of revelation," and Stronczynski added that it was"exceptional money, the minting of which soon had to be abandoned."

A rare and historically important denarius type.

Variety with DVCIS BOLZA on the obverse.

Silver, diameter 16 mm, weight 0.75 g.
