A distinctly rarer variety with an emperor with a palm branch instead of a lily. In addition, with an unprecedented mark to the left of the emperor - a lying E.
So far in history we have had this obverse only 1 time, combined with an extremely rare reverse(ADALBERIS).
Interesting, especially in the context of linking this coin to the tribute paid to Frederick Barbarossa at Krzyzkow near Poznan in 1157.
A very nice coin. Charming patina.
