One-sided print of Poland's most famous medieval coin.

The original denarius of King Boleslaw the Brave, whose thousandth anniversary of his coronation is currently being celebrated throughout Poland.

This is a print of the reverse of a PRINCES POLONIE type denarius.

The first coin with the country's name written on it - POLONIE - which is the oldest original writing of the country's name that has survived to this day. Not only among coins, but also among all archaeological sources!

Reverse: a Greek cross, ringed with a ball between the arms. In the rim the barbed inscription [PR]INCES POLON[IE].

Silver, diameter 18 mm, weight 0.69 g.
