A rare brakteat.
Broken, lae without damage to the imagery.
Depiction: inside the quadrilateral a figure seated in profile to the right, holding a pennant standing in front of her, between two pearl columns.
As W. Garbaczewski points out, this is "one of the few examples among Piast brakteates depicting a ruler in a space bounded by a series of walls.... such a composition may have expressed the idea of 'sovereignty of the ruler in the territory subordinate to him.' A string of fortifications that realized the inviolability of borders secured against aggressors...".
Issuance attributed in some literature to Leszek the White, but with unconfirmed attribution.
