A very rare, penultimate half-tone of the city of Elblag.
A coin that Kopicki noted for only three, large collections (Czapski, Sobanski, Malbork). It is encountered in trade only occasionally.
In the archives of Polish companies only 2 listings (2015 and 2019). The half-track offered in this auction is the prettiest, best embossed of them.
Issued during the second occupation of the city of Elblag by the Swedes. From the reign of Charles Gustav, whose titulature we find on the obverse. Of the fine coinage, it is the half-tracks, minted in only two vintages, that are the most difficult to acquire.
