A very nice city token of Gdansk made a year before the siege of the city by Stefan Batory's army.
According to the theory put forward by Jaroslaw Dutkowski, the rosette present on the reverse was supposed to be an indication of the amount of a day's pay (a penny for each rosette) for work for the city.
